The farm operating system — one platform that runs an entire berry estate, from the field to the financials.
A labour app here, a costing spreadsheet there, a compliance binder, fuel logs in a notebook, accounting in Sage — and WhatsApp holding it together. Data gets re-keyed three times, nothing reconciles, and no one can answer the simple question: what did that block actually cost?
Spreadsheets, apps and paper that never reconcile.
Every tool has its own version of the numbers.
Per-block, per-phase profitability is guesswork.
GlobalG.A.P. & SIZA evidence pulled together by hand.
Vantage captures every event once, in the field, and carries it all the way through to the books — costing, compliance and cash, on a single source of truth. The only thing it hands off is the statutory accounting, straight into Xero.
Harvest · spray · scouting
Piece-rate · per block
Quote → PO → pay
Live vs the model
Bills · VAT · bank
Every layer shares one dataset — capture a harvest pick and it flows into labour cost, OPEX, the dashboard and the audit trail without anyone re-typing a thing.
QR labour scan, harvest, spray, scouting, fertigation, plant census & fuel — offline-first.
Piece-rate & hourly, attendance, per-block cost, performance and payroll export.
Stock movements, live reorder alerts, equipment R&M and fuel logs.
Quote → dual approval → auto PO → supplier invoice → payment, fully tracked.
Live spend vs the V10.3.1 financial model; OPEX actuals built from real field events.
GlobalG.A.P. & SIZA audit-readiness tracking, PPE register and a full audit log.
A management cockpit — every KPI computed from recorded events, not hand-keyed.
An in-app agronomy, compliance & ERP assistant — answers in the context of your farm.
Suppliers, bills & payments push to Xero with phase- & block-level cost tracking.
I run the establishment of a 40-hectare SEKOYA® Pop™ berry estate, calibrated to a detailed financial model. I went looking for software that could hold field operations, labour, procurement, CAPEX/OPEX and GlobalG.A.P./SIZA compliance in one place, tied to my numbers.
It doesn't exist. The market is point solutions that each own one slice and export the rest to spreadsheets. So I built Vantage — the system I needed to run this farm properly — and it works. The farm isn't the customer; it's the proof.
A scan of the market shows the same pattern everywhere: each rival owns a single slice and stops at the financials.
Labour apps do clocking & payroll only. Precision-ag platforms map soil & yield, but aren't an ERP. Farm-management suites handle field ops & labour, then export to Sage for the money. None natively own CAPEX/OPEX, procure-to-pay and SIZA for a single estate.
The one integrated, single-estate platform that unifies field ops + labour + CAPEX/OPEX + procure-to-pay + compliance, calibrated to one farm's financial model, with both GlobalG.A.P. and SIZA — and a clean hand-off to Xero for the statutory books.
The gap is real and unserved: the rivals are multi-tenant tools sold to thousands of farms on the lowest common denominator. Vantage is built around how a berry estate actually runs.
The usual way means stacking subscriptions that still don't talk to each other. Vantage collapses that into one platform you own — the only recurring third-party fee left is your accounting.
Illustrative — actual competitor pricing varies (e.g. one multi-farm tool lists ~US$399 per farm per year, before add-ons). The structural point holds: no per-seat or per-farm SaaS fees, near-zero hosting on Cloudflare's free tier, and no double data entry. You own the platform and the data.
The same platform serves the office and the field — each gets exactly what its job needs, and nothing it doesn't.
The difference: the desktop runs the business; the phone feeds it. Phones are routed straight to the field app — the same data, two purpose-built experiences.
Vantage runs on Cloudflare's global edge — the same infrastructure behind a large share of the internet — so it's fast, secure, and effectively free to host at a single farm's scale. No servers to maintain, nothing to patch.
The platform and the data are yours — no per-seat lock-in, no vendor holding the keys.
What runs one estate can run the next; the architecture is multi-farm ready.
In production today, with a working Xero integration — not a concept.
Vantage already runs Werk & Rus. The same gap it closes for us is unserved across South Africa's berry growers — a defensible product with a working reference site and a real customer who lives the problem.
